Now in their third decade, Kind of Blues has been bringing their distinctive musical energy to audiences throughout the Northwoods.
The band delivers an energetic, driving mix of blues classics made famous by artists like B.B. King and Stevie Ray Vaughan, alongside modern blues from performers such as Walter Trout and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram.
Then comes their signature “special sauce”: a dose of upbeat, funky jazz drawn from the Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, and Horace Silver tradition.
The result is a truly unique sound that’s familiar, fresh, and unmistakably their own.
